About Your Teachers
Nav
Nav's a certified 200-hour yoga instructor who's found a home on his mat. To take a class with him is to enjoy any and all movement our bodies allow us to explore, and to truly unite with your breath. With a focus on mindfulness and intentional breathing, the goal is to leave a class with Nav more connected in mind, body, and spirit - all via the breath.
A former journalist, Nav spent the last 12-plus years working in sports media before transitioning full time to the yoga, wellness, and mindfulness space. Originally from Toronto, you can find him teaching all over Georgian Bay in Ontario: in Thornbury at Mantra Yoga, in Collingwood at Cedarwood Wellness Studio, Everlove, and The Northwood Club, and in Wasaga Beach at Wasaga Beach Yoga. His goal is to bring more men on to yoga mats and into the mindfulness space, and to one day own a yoga studio.
Off the mat, Nav loves reading books from the Collingwood and Toronto public libraries, black coffee, running, and watching the Toronto Blue Jays win the World Series. Namaste 😊Skilled in surf, yoga, fitness, slacklining, and leading ceremonies, Gabba brings a wealth of knowledge and energy to each retreat. She’s excited to share these passions with you, creating an immersive experience that will leave you recharged, inspired, and more connected than ever.
Lauri
Lauri is a RYT200 certified yoga instructor, breathwork facilitator, spin instructor, and founder of the newly-launched Canadian company (SHE Ventures), which offers multi-day outdoor experiences and adventure travel exclusively for women of all skill levels. She’s a certified wilderness first responder, environmental professional, avid backcountry camper, and backpacker, having visited ~30 countries and six continents. She’s passionate about exploration and encouraging women to feel confident in traditionally male-dominated spaces, while also encouraging more men to find belonging in the mindfulness community. She’ll make you feel at home while away from home and loves creating meaningful travel itineraries rooted in culture and off-the-beaten path experiences.
