About This Trip

Led by partners and co-facilitators Tia and Danilo of Innerpath Yoga (@innerpath.yoga), this retreat brings together movement and stillness. Danilo, an RYT500+ instructor and founder of Yoga in Nature TO, draws on years of study, practice, and retreat leadership in Canada and Brazil, while Tia, an RYT200 instructor and former Team Canada beach volleyball player, brings a practice rooted in nervous system regulation and embodied presence.

Guests will enjoy full access to the beautiful Amaru Wellness Resort, a remote beachfront sanctuary offering tranquility, comfort, and connection with nature. Between practices, relax by the pool, sway in a hammock, or indulge in optional spa treatments.

Optional excursions include surf lessons, a sea turtle release, volcano hikes, and volcano boarding, perfect for those craving adventure alongside rest and reflection. About Your Teachers

Danilo Almeida

Ten years ago Danilo found himself at a crossroads. Despite outward success, his heart whispered that something deeper was calling, leading him on a backpacking journey through India's ashrams where he discovered a pathway home to himself. That shift toward deeper contentment and a more stable mind became his mission to share with others. Now a RYT500+ certified yoga instructor and founder of Yoga in Nature TO, he creates spaces in Toronto's parks where people reconnect with the quiet wisdom of the natural world, drawing from his experience leading retreats across Brazil and Canada. Danilo believes Yoga lives beyond the mat, in how present we are day to day, and carries these teachings into his relationships and daily life. His mission is simple: to guide others toward that deep, unshakable silence within, where the mind settles and joy naturally arises.

TIA MIRIC

Tia is a former professional beach volleyball player who spent over a decade competing internationally for Team Canada, before leaving the corporate insurance world she'd been training for behind after a solo trip that changed the course of her life. After years of chasing performance and constant motion, she found herself craving something different: stillness, presence, and time spent outdoors reconnecting with the natural rhythms she'd lost touch with. She's now a RYT200 certified yoga instructor (trained in Rishikesh, India), teaching Yoga Asana and Meditation rooted in nervous system regulation and embodied presence. She's co-led multiple retreats with SHE Ventures, guiding women through immersive outdoor experiences in new places, and believes some of the deepest healing happens under open sky. Her own path has taught her that slowing down isn't the opposite of discipline, it's its own kind of strength, and she's passionate about helping others find a sense of home and peace within their own bodies.

Tia and Danilo are partners in life and in practice, and together they founded Innerpath Yoga (@innerpath.yoga). Each has walked their own path to stillness, and each teaches from that fullness in their own right. Together, they offer a balance of movement and stillness, effort and ease, and mind and heart. It's this same balance they bring to Nicaragua, guiding guests toward a deeper connection with themselves and the natural world around them.
